19-69

19-69 was founded by the Swedish artist and product developer, Johan Bergelin. A two-year process with artisans in Scandinavia, France and Italy led to the launch of the five first fragrances at Colette in Paris in 2017. All 19-69 scents today are designed for any gender, allowing the individual to explore beauty across borders.
The name 19-69 stands for freedom, tolerance and counterculture. The inspiration includes different iconic moments of counterculture throughout history. Art, music and different cultures have also left their mark on the products in terms of content, names and packaging. The different colors symbolize a rainbow which in 1969 stood for peace and freedom.
