Collection: Yasar Aydin

Two skulls form a heart, a wishbone necklace can be broken and shared between two wearers – and a price tag is a silver decoration in itself. These are just some examples of how jewellery designer Yaşar Aydin combines skill, humor and beauty in his inimitable creations. He graduated in metal design from Konstfack (University of Arts, Crafts and Design) in 2011 and is captivated by the craft and the creation itself, and allows it to be a time-consuming process. Yaşar works with classic and traditional jewellery forms, which he reinterprets into contemporary design with intricate details and various technical solutions. He mainly works in silver 925 which he combines with precious stones in various colours. Yaşar Aydin is represented in the permanent collection of Nationalmuseum (Sweden's museum of art and design).
